Kang Wan-jin (Hongcheon-gun Office), a representative of the Korean Taekwondo Poomsae event,
won the first gold medal for the Korean team at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

held at the Lin’an Sports and Culture Exhibition Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province,
China, on the afternoon of the 24th and stood at the top of Asia.

Kang Wan-jin, who was named Korea’s first gold medalist, won the championship without any major difficulties.

At the Summer World University Games held in Chengdu, China last July,
Kang Wan-jin took first place in the Poomsae individual event.
She also took the top spot in the men’s division at the Asian Poomsae Championships and the Goyang World Poomsae Championships held last year.
