SK pulls out a hard-fought win in an unexpectedly close game.
The Seoul SK Knights defeated the Seoul Samsung Thunder 80-76 in the third round of the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association (KBA) on Monday at Seoul Gymnasium.
It was their eighth straight win. 바카라사이트
They remained in sole possession of second place with an 18-8 record.
Last-place Samsung is 5-22.
The game was expected to be one-sided in favor of SK.
The sobering reality is that even if Samsung played their best, the result was expected.
Even with Kofi Coburn, who makes up more than half of their roster, out with an injury, Samsung stepped up their game, and SK struggled throughout the game.
Still, SK extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to Jamil Warney, who had 31 points, 16 rebounds, and four assists.
Warney did a good job of harassing a weakened Samsung inside.
It was also encouraging to see good production from Oh Se-geun with 19 points.
Oh Jae-hyun added 10.
Samsung was led by Ishmael Lane with 21 points, including two three-pointers.
Lee Jung-hyun also had 18 points and seven assists, while Kim Si-rae and Choi Seung-wook, who have both struggled this season, added 11 points.
It was a well-fought game given the disparity in power.
