Lee Kang-in’s PSG travels to Korea to face Jeonbuk on March 3

Held on August 3 at the Busan Asiad Stadium

French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the newest addition to the national team, is coming to South Korea.

“We will play a pre-season schedule in Japan and then travel to Korea to meet Korean fans on August 2-3,” the club said on its official website on August 21. PSG will travel to South Korea to play a friendly against K League 1 side Jeonbuk Hyundai on August 3 at the Busan Asiad Stadium.

The two teams are two of the biggest names in their respective leagues.

PSG, with Neymar (Brazil) and Mbappe (France), has won the French Ligue 1 title 11 times, including last season. They are the most decorated team. Lee Kang-in, who played for Mallorca in Spain until last season, recently joined PSG and can be expected to play alongside world-class players.

Jeonbuk also holds the record for the most K League titles with nine.

“After signing the talented and promising Lee Kang-in this summer, this is a historic meeting,” PSG said in a statement.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to meet the Korean fans, this is a historic meeting and we look forward to seeing our players discover the passion for soccer in Korea,” said PSG Asia-Pacific President Sébastien Baseles.

The match is part of the ‘Coupang Play Series‘. Last year, Son Heung-min’s club Tottenham and Sevilla (Spain) traveled to Korea.

This year, PSG, Manchester City (England), 토토사이트 and Atletico Madrid (Spain) will be visiting.
