Shin Dong-min (Banpo High School), a promising short track speed skater, won three gold medals at the Junior World Championships.
Shin Dong-min won the men’s 1,000m final at the 2024 International Skating Union (ISU) Short Track Junior World Championships held at Halla Olivia in Gdansk, Poland on the 26th (Korean time) with a time of 1 minute 26.490 seconds.
Lim Jong-eon (Nowon High School, 1 minute 26.596 seconds) and Han Byeong-chan (Daegwang High School, 1 minute 26.999 seconds), who participated in the same event, won silver and bronze medals, making three Korean athletes stand on the podium side by side.
