Teams from 2nd-4th place, including Kt-NC-Dusan, are losing side by side in an unknown last place race.

In Incheon, SSG came back from a 0-5 deficit against NC to win a dramatic 9-7 victory.

In the sixth inning, they scored five runs on three hits, four walks, and an error to make it 8-5.

In Jamsil, last-place Kiwoom Heroes defeated fourth-place Dusan 6-5 in a game with a long road ahead.

Kiwoom took a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning when Kim Hui-jip doubled with runners on second and third.

Doosan quickly turned the tide after an offensive shift.

In the bottom of the third inning, with runners on first and second, Yang Ji doubled, Yang Suk-hwan singled and Kang Seung-ho singled to right to make it 3-2.

Two batters later, Kim In-tae hit a two-run double to right to make it 4-2.

In the sixth inning, Jung Soo-bin added a run with a single to left to make it 5-2 and seemingly seal the win.

However, Kiwoom scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh on a Ronnie Dawson sacrifice fly and an RBI single by Lee Ju-hyung, and then capitalized on an error in the eighth to tie the game at 5-5.

With momentum on their side, Kiwoom scored the game-winning run in the top of the ninth on an RBI single by Lim Ji-yeol.

In Busan, the Lotte Giants rode a strong pitching performance from Charlie Barnes to a 10-4 victory over the Samsung Lions, avenging a doubleheader loss the day before.

Lotte got on the board first in the bottom of the second inning when Park Seung-wook hit a two-run double with the bases loaded.

In the third inning, Yoo Kang-nam hit a two-run double to make it 4-0.

Samsung got one run back in the top of the fourth on an RBI single by Jose Pirela.

However, Lotte pounded out seven hits in the bottom of the fourth inning to score five runs and take a 9-1 lead.

Samsung got a run back in the top of the seventh when rookie Kim Jae-sang hit his first career home run, a two-run shot, and a solo shot by Koo Ja-rook in the eighth, but could not make up for the early deficit.

Barnes pitched six innings, allowing three hits and one run to improve to 11-9.
