Lee Jae-kyung, who leads the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour Order of Merit this season, said at the tournament’s official press conference on Friday, two days before the start of the Shinhan Donghae Open, “It’s a tournament I’ve wanted to do well in since I was young. The 39th edition of the Shinhan Donghae Open is co-hosted by the KPGA Korean Tour, Japan Professional Golf Tour (JGTO) and Asian Tour. This year’s tournament, which will be held at the par-72 Incheon Club 72 Golf Course, will feature 138 players from 17 countries, including top ranked players from Korea and Japan.
