After scoring a hat trick, Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-min Son topped the English Premier
League (EPL) power rankings, according to a British publication.
The UK’s Daily Mail released its EPL Week 4 Power Rankings on June 6 (KST), and Heung-min took the top spot ahead of Elling Holland (Manchester City) 스포츠토토 and teammate James Maddison (Tottenham).
Son, who has previously been recognized by the EPL Secretariat and the BBC as one of the top 11 strikers of the week, is now the top player according to local media.
Son scored three goals in a 5-2 away win over Burnley in the fourth round of the 2023-24 EPL at Turf Moor in Lancashire, England, on Feb. 2.
After going scoreless in the previous three games as a flanker, Son played up front and showed off his attacking instincts.
“Kane’s departure was frowned upon by Tottenham, but (Son’s performance) 토토 was more than enough to offset it,” said the Daily Mail.
“Heung-min hadn’t scored in his first three games, but a hat-trick against Burnley was a reminder of what he can do. He was instrumental in helping Tottenham recover after conceding an early goal.”
“Under Enze Postecoglou, Heung-min dominated the press and was sharp in attack when needed.”
Evan Ferguson (Brighton), who also scored a hat-trick, was second in the Power Rankings, followed by Holland in third.
Maddison, the playmaker behind Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the season, is fourth, followed by Jared Bowen (West Ham), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton), 스포츠토토링크 and Brian Mbemo (Brentford).
