Team Krul is back in the Premier League (EPL).
Luton Town officially announced the signing on the official website on the 17th (Korean time)
saying
Luton manager Rob Edwards has strengthened his goalkeeping options by signing Tim Krul from Norwich City.
Krul is a veteran goalkeeper born in 1988.
Krul grew up in the Dutch league
but he has a unique background.
He joined Newcastle United as a youth player and made his debut for Newcastle.
Having gained experience on loan 먹튀검증사이트
Krul has been a mainstay for Newcastle since the 2010-11 season.
A mainstay at Newcastle until the 2014-15 season
Krul became a recognised player in the Premier League (EPL).
Krul
who has also been a regular in the Dutch age-group squad
was quickly called up to the Dutch national team.
He didn’t play as the main player.
He was consistently selected as the 2nd~3rd choice goalkeeper.
However
he had a difficult time in the 2015-16 season when he began to fall out of Newcastle.
He went through Ajax
AZ Alkmaar and Brighton
but none of them established themselves as mainstays.
Krul’s return to form came when he joined Norwich City in the 2018-19 season.
After joining Norwich from the second division
Krul helped the team win promotion to the EPL and returned to the EPL for the 2-2019 season.
Krul
who played for Norwich as a mainstay
faced Tottenham in the final league game of the 20-2021 season.
At the time
Tottenham’s goals were twofold.
At the same time as the victory
it was to make Son Heung-min the EPL’s top scorer.
Son Heung-min was one goal behind Mohamed Salah

On the day he could have become the first Asian to become the EPL’s top scorer
Krul put on the show of his life.
He blocked Son Heung-min’s shot on several occasions

Krul performed so well that his Tottenham team-mate Dier asked:
Does Salah do anything for you?
The appearance of shouting became a hot topic.
In the end
however
Son Heung-min opened the scoring in the 2th and 1th minutes of the second half to make history in the EPL and Asian football.
Krul was used as a rotation member at Norwich after the end of the 25-30 season.
He headed to promoted side Luton Town for a new challenge.
Krul said:
I’m delighted to be joining a team that has had an incredible journey over the past nine years.
EPL teams have a lot of competition.
It won’t be any different here
he said
vowing to compete as the main player.
