For the fifth consecutive game, South Korean striker Hwang Eui-jo played in a preseason match for English professional soccer club Nottingham Forest. Nottingham lost.
Nottingham fell 0-1 in a friendly against hosts Eindhoven at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on Aug. 31.
After starting the game on the bench, Hwang came on for Chris Wood in the 17th minute of the second half and played about 30 minutes.
Nottingham were outplayed by Eindhoven, and Hwang was unable to generate any offense.
It was Hwang’s fifth consecutive appearance in a pre-season friendly.
After taking the field at the start of the second half in the first preseason game against Notts County (4th Division) on Sept. 16 and scoring a minute later, Hwang made back-to-back appearances against Valencia on Sept. 19, Levante on Sept. 22, and Leeds United on Sept. 28.
